Darin T. Easter has been at Bethel UMC since July 2021. And man has time flown by!

A transplant from a Chicago suburb, Darin grew up in Montgomery, AL., he has a B.A. in General Studies

of Liberal Arts from Auburn University of Montgomery. After getting married (to wife Kelly) and

beginning a career in youth ministry and moving to Tuscumbia, AL in 1994, (within 2 weeks of each

other), Darin was drawn to seminary. Darin began studies at the Beeson Divinity School at Samford

University, and then transferred to Memphis Theological Seminary where he received a Masters of

Divinity degree in May of 2001. Darin and Kelly have Thomas, a student at Troy University, and

daughter, Sarah, who attends GW Long and a Dalmatian named Lily.

Darin was in Student Ministry since 1994-2019 (with a brief stint in sales 2014 and 2015) throughout

North AL, West TN and West AL.

While Director of Student Ministries in 2017, Darin was asked to be a Supply Pastor at Forkland UMC in

Green County, AL. After a great time of growth at Forkland during that time, was also invited to pursue

Licensing. In 2019, the Easters moved to Luverne, AL, where he became the Pastor at Luverne UMC

(through Covid era). Darin and family arrived to Bethel in 2021.
